Every Wednesday: New 45-minute classes have started at Fort
Leavenworth, KS, in the aerobics room at Gruber Gym.

  • 11:30-12:15 - Baby Beats (up to 18 months) is a wonderful time to
play stimulating games with your little one, using music to
encourage responses and begin using sign language.  You will learn
how important music is to your baby’s development and how you can
    continue music activities at home.

  • 2:15-3:00 - Toddler Tunes (18-36 months) is a time to enjoy that
wonderful little person who is soaking up everything, as fast as it is
presented.  Explore the new world of sounds, rhythms, instruments,
movement and singing while helping your child attain the skills
needed for future learning.  Expand your knowledge of signing with
your child to encourage speech development.

  • 1:15- 2:00 - Music Makers (3-5 years) provides the opportunity to
explore the creation of original music by introducing the use of
rhythm, new instruments and working together to become a “band”.
During all the fun, skills needed for success in academic and social
    settings will be improved.

  • 3:30-4:15 - Happy Harmonics (5-8 years) will be the introduction of
singing as a group, developing skills of listening, working together,
following instructions and paying attention.  Of course, the great
part is that everyone is having so much fun they don’t realize that
they are learning and practicing skills that will improve their ability
    to learn.
